Annual Mother's Day Quilt Show
This is an annual non-juried show, free and open to the public. Each year our quilt show begins the Friday before Mother's Day and runs through Mother's Day Sunday; hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On average, our Quilt Show includes more than seventy finely crafted quilts (antique as well as latest patterns) by local quilters, some dating back as far as the 1800's.
The Quilt Show it is a great time to drive the Country Barn Quilt Trail where you will find more than 40 local barns adorned with beautiful, hand-painted quilt squares.
Show activities inlcude:
- Quilt Raffle featuring a beautiful, handmade quilt by Peaceful Shores Quilt Guild of Kendall
- Door Prizes
- Free Maps for the Country Barn Quilt Trail
- Partyka samplings
- Home baked goods and fresh ground coffee

New for 2011 -- Country Barn Quilt Trail Bike Ride
As a part of the Kendall Community Scarecrow Festival (October 8th). Meet up at the town park in the middle of Kendall at 10:00 to take off on a self-guided Barn Quilt Trail Bike Ride. Or, if you prefer you may join a 10-mile guided tour of the Barn Quilt Trail.
